Welcome to WP Folder Shield. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, products, and services. By purchasing or using WP Folder Shield, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Plugin" refers to the WP Folder Shield WordPress security plugin.
  • "License" refers to the right to use the Plugin according to your purchased plan.
  • "You" or "Customer" refers to the individual or entity purchasing or using our services.
  • "We", "Us", or "Company" refers to WP Folder Shield.

2. License Grant

2.1 License Types

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Plugin according to your selected plan:

  • Personal: Use on 1 WordPress website
  • Professional: Use on up to 5 WordPress websites
  • Agency: Use on up to 100 WordPress websites owned or managed by you

2.1.1 Agency License Site Limit

Important: The Agency license permits activation on up to 100 WordPress websites. This limit is designed to accommodate the needs of agencies managing multiple client sites. If you require activations beyond 100 sites, please contact us to discuss an Enterprise agreement.

2.2 License Terms

  • Annual licenses are valid for one year from the date of purchase and must be renewed for continued updates and support.
  • Lifetime licenses provide perpetual access to updates and support for as long as the product is maintained.

2.3 Permitted Use

You may:

  • Install and use the Plugin on the number of sites allowed by your license
  • Receive updates and support during your license period
  • Make backup copies for archival purposes

2.4 Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Redistribute, resell, lease, or sublicense the Plugin (unless you have an Agency license with reseller rights)
  • Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works
  • Remove any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the Plugin for illegal purposes
  • Share your license key with third parties
  • Use one license across more sites than permitted

3. Purchases and Payments

3.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change. The price at the time of purchase will be honored.

3.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.

3.3 Automatic Renewal

Annual licenses may be set to auto-renew. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time through your account or by contacting support.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Plugin, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, refunds are provided at our discretion.

5. Support and Updates

5.1 Support

Support is provided via email during your active license period. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24-48 business hours.

5.2 Updates

During your active license period, you will receive:

  • Bug fixes and security patches
  • New features and improvements
  • Compatibility updates for new WordPress versions

5.3 After License Expiration

If your annual license expires:

  • The Plugin will continue to function
  • You will no longer receive updates or support
  • License validation may fail, disabling premium features

6. Intellectual Property

The Plugin, including all code, design, and documentation, is owned by WP Folder Shield and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Your license grants usage rights only; ownership remains with us.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLUGIN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND SECURITY OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

While we strive to provide robust security, no security solution can guarantee 100% protection against all threats.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Plugin in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not responsible for any loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WP Folder Shield, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Plugin
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Abuse our systems or support

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Plugin and destroy all copies.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of the Plugin constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WP Folder Shield regarding the Plugin.
